Shadow is an 8 month old un-spayed female. She’s a black and tan long coat. She’s lived with children and dogs. She needs an owner who will teach her basic obedience.

A Christmas 2011 update from Shadow’s owners:

Shadow has settled well, it took a little while but now we see the real dog full of love and life.

The two photographs below are taken on Dartmoor, Shadow’s spiritual home. She enjoys her daily two hour walks on the moor and is never still. She loves play something she didn’t do when she arrived. She was also afraid of water, now she dives into the leat or river – making a huge splash is her favourite game!

She’s excellent with people especially children, sheep, cattle and ponies. She hasn’t had much experience with dogs as we meet very few on our walks, on the occasions we do she will sit and let the other dog pass. She has a few doggy friends but doesn’t see them often enough to forge a lasting friendship.
