Ollie (was called Ozzy)

Back

Ozzy

This is Ozzy.  He is a 2 year old entire male,  He is truly a joy to have around.

He is good with all people and other dogs both in the home and out and about.  He is good on the lead and also off lead, he gives you the ball to throw again and again.  He says hello to everyone nicely,

However, Ozzy is only 23 kg and should be about 35 kg.  The vet doesn't think he is ill but cant rule anything out.  He is on four small meals a day and I'm sure he has put a little on.  Due to his weight he cannot be neutered - he needs to gain at least 10 kg.

He is inoculated up to date and has been wormed and flea treated. This boy is a smasher and whoever has him will be very lucky.

If you would like to offer Ozzy a loving, caring home. please contact us.

Ozzy is now in his new home and has been renamed Ollie.

This is an update from his new owners:

"Ollie has settled into his new home well and has taken over the job of head gardener at Chalhanger. He is a natural digger and has a passion for harvesting onions!

He is quickly learning the laws of "doggie world" and is attending an obedience and socialisation class which he thinks is enormous fun, never mind the rules!! That is not entirely true, he is a quick learner and very responsive to commands when there's nothing better to do....

Ollie is a big boy who is gradually gaining weight and going through the puppyhood that he never experienced during his early years. He is such a happy and loving dog with everyone in the family enjoying his company (apart from the cats who do not appreciate being sat on....).

We feel privileged to have him and thank the Trustees of Devon GSD Rescue for taking the time and effort to rehome the right dog with us."
