If you can offer this handsome boy a loving, caring home, then please contact us.

Kez is now relaxing in his new home, see picture below:

A glowing report on Kez from his new owner.

“Kez is a STAR!!  He has met a 12 week old Chinese Crested Powder Puff pup who is half the size of his head!!  He is SO gentle. He loves the car and is coming ‘to work’ with me on Friday night for the first time. We have had some good training sessions in the field with a Poodle puppy rushing around trying to distract him ..... but he’s focussed on me ...especially for sausage!! He has the run of all the house and just sleeps if left...really laid back. A friend has a mobility scooter and he trots alongside as if he has been doing it all his life!"

Just a quick update on Kes:  As you can see he has been to Carol for a wash and brush up and is looking really good. His training is coming on well, he walks to heel much better on his leader collar and is becoming quite good on the ordinary lead, still a long way to go but at least I still have an arm left! He has settled in so well I cannot believe it is only a week since he came. The cats have got his measure and know that a hiss at him will have him running for cover which is amusing to watch. I have just begun to let him off the lead now, Penny and I have done some recall work on a long lead and he is responding well, he comes first call and is allowed off in quiet areas which he loves, his stamina has improved and I am taking him a little further each day, not up to a mile even yet but slow progress will pay in the end as he is so overweight. I will book him in at the vets for his weigh in and injection next week and will be able to keep a check on his diet progress then. He is happy to be left when I am out and, the last two days have seen him waiting at the door, tail wagging when I get back which is so nice to see, we are getting on so well and he is such a happy dog now, pleased to see people come and watches them leave from over the gate! He has barked at the door lately which I feel means that he is beginning to feel this is home. Will let you know how he goes on. Thank you so much for my wonderful companion,

Well done to Kez who won “Handsome Dog” at the Charity’s Companion Dog Show in Spreyton on 1st April 2012.
