Adopt a GSD
Crystal

Crystal is a 2 year old entire female. She is good on the lead, would be better homed with another GSD or large male. She is good with live stock; she is very intelligent and would not suit a quiet household. She needs long walks, and games to keep her mind active or she will be a handful. She really needs a very experienced owner that will work her and get the best out of her.
Very affectionate and loves ball games.
If you would like to offer Crystal a loving, caring home, please contact us.
We have the following update from her foster home and some pictures kindly taken by Philip Duley.
"Chrissie has now been spayed. She is wonderful with other dogs, loves the water and her ball, very good with people, good on and off lead walking.
Very active and will only suit a very active home. She has been with me for a while now and has the most wonderful personality. Very easy to train. Not good with cats."

Crystal is now in her new home.
An update from Crystal's new owners:
"Crystal seems to be settling in fine and getting put in her place by Jake who has still managed to retain his place as top dog.
You weren't wrong when you warned us about her hyper activity. Friday saw us on the Beach when we got back she just ran and ran, wore me out throwing the ball. Have now invested in a thrower which suits us both. She seems to be fairly sociable so far with other dogs albeit a bit cautious, this appears to be improving daily as her confidence grows hopefully she won't go overboard in this respect.
She gets a walk every morning whatever the weather. She has been introduced to 2 routes so far of about 1 1/2 miles each and has been round them a couple of times each and seems to learn quite quickly.
She is reasonably good off the lead and eventually comes back, seems to get distracted fairly often. Sniffs are getting more attention now so walk is part lead, part play and part off the lead. We don't trust her near sheep and think she would go for them, perhaps in play but won't get the chance.
Around the house she has calmed down a lot over the last day and now lays quietly as we sit down, however as soon as either of us move she is up and follows like a shadow.
So far so good, she will be loved to bits.
Will send some pics shortly"

A further update:
"Crystal looks to be settling in well, each day better than the
previous. Her ex Devon GSD collar is in the post to you, she won't
be needing that again I'm sure, despite her starting to dig up the
garden like a JCB.
Attached pics I hope show she has come to a good home and is getting
her exercise, pity the one on the beach is a bit dark we didn't
finish until it got dark. (I've made it lighter - Ed)
Thanks for a lovely addition to our home "

Many thanks for this latest update from Crystal's new owners:
"Well a month on and life just gets better with Crystal. She has settled in so well it seems as though she has been here for ever.
She has stamped her character on the house, has her own spot and just loves the toy box. To say she is a little minx is an understatement, the garden has been wrecked with all her running about and her attempts to be a JCB, we just don't seem to tire her out no matter how much we exercise her in the country or on the beach.
I don't think anyone could take her from us now."
