Adopt a GSD
Tia
Tia is approx 12 months nonspayed bitch, very shy and within herself when she arrived but is now playing with 3 other dogs with confidence.
Loves playing with a ball or stick and retrieves well. Walks well on the lead and has had some basic training.
Tia is now in her new home.
We have recently received this delightful update from Tia's new owners:
"Tia has been with us for five months now so we thought it was time we gave you an update and a few pictures.
Tia is thriving, she has grown since we got her, not sure how much as we did not measure her when she arrived but she is definitely taller, has muscled up and filled out. She now weighs 28Kg which our vet reckons is just about right.
Tia settled in very quickly, and gets on well with Hugo our terrier/lab/other bits cross, the two are virtually inseparable. She is far more confident now and anybody coming to her house gets a very impressive GSD woof at first usually followed by kisses once she’s satisfied herself that they are friendly. She certainly has a sense of humour, pinches slippers and hides them if we go out without her.
We have some lovely dog walks around this area which both dogs really enjoy especially if there is water involved, Tia loves swimming and now dives into the water which is an impressive sight. If there’s no water available she will find a muddy puddle and lie down in it to cool her tummy.
Tia is a beautiful dog, calm and friendly but full of life and loving, we feel very lucky to have her. I have pictures of her on my PC desktop at work where she has lots of admirers who complain if the pictures are not updated regularly. We have had her spayed and chipped."
