Adopt a GSD
Sadie
Sadie is a 4-5 year old entire female. She is very good on the lead and also has a good recall when off the lead. She is very friendly with other dogs.
Sadie has not lived with cats but has met my cat and is interested, I would think she could live with a cat given time. She is a little shy when she first meets people but soon gets over her shyness. She would suit almost all homes as she appears to have very few problems, likes being groomed, has no food aggression, she can be noisy at first in the car but soon settles.
She really is a lovely lady.
Sadie is now in her new home.
Sadie adopted February 2010 update:
"What a beautiful, happy, affectionate and intelligent dog Sadie has turned out to be. She has settled really well now after a couple of difficult months when she was unsure and suffered from anxiety separation, but her trust has grown and she has become a wonderful companion. It is a real pleasure and joy looking after her and she certainly returns and craves affection, which we give her all the time. Her favourite activities are walks, playing, having her tummy scratched, brushing her beautiful coat, patrolling her garden (no visits from naughty cats any more) and of course eating and having treats. She is very good and protective of our small grandchildren and certainly loves people more than other dogs (still a challenge - but improving). Sadie is definitely OUR dog and we love her dearly and wouldn‘t be without her.
