Kyla

Back

Kyla is a 12 month old short coat black and tan bitch. She has been living with two adults where there are no other animals. A 12 year old grandson is a regular visitor. She is used to being left for 4/5 hours most days. Outside she is good with people and off the leash in parks with other dogs there have been no problems. She travels well in the car but as yet will pull on the leash.  However she is a slim light weight at present and easy to handle on the leash (and be trained).  When assessed she was friendly and took treats gently.  She barked at the assessor with tail wagging probably seeking more fuss and attention. When left on her own she has been caged in the living room apparently because a previous dog was destructive when left alone. She has received basic training - sit, come, stay etc.

Kyla is a lively young safe dog who requires more companionship and will probably respond well to formal training.

Kyla is now in her new home.

Here is an update from her new owners:
"Just to give you an update and photos of Kyla.. She is settling in really well tho still has a few small issues, her coat is looking good and has put on a little weight and is a good looking slim girl.
She loves her walks and has finally started swimming not just paddling!"
